A new study from the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS) at La Trobe University, wants your help to complete an online survey about What Makes You HAPPY, What Makes You SAD, What Makes You RESILIENT and What Makes You GREAT?
What Makes You..? is the first Australian study to focus on the positive aspects of being LGBT, with researchers seeking to understand what makes LGBT people happy and fulfilled and to identify the challenges and obstacles that may prevent their happiness.
Results from this survey will help us understand the ways we can improve the mental health and well-being of LGBT Australians. The results will help governments, clinical services and community groups plan their programs and policies so they can better support LGBT Australians.
The survey will take only 20 to 30 minutes to complete and it is completely anonymous as we do not ask you to record your name or any other personally identifying information. What Makes You..? has been approved by the La Trobe University Ethics Committee (ref no. S15/205).
