Multi-award-winning comedian, singer and cabaret artist Reuben Kaye will host this year’s Honour Awards, New South Wales’ premier rainbow community awards celebration.
Kaye is one of Australia’s most recognisable performers, known for razor-sharp comedy, powerhouse vocals and unapologetically political shows that have toured across Australia, the UK and Europe.
His recent work includes hosting the first Australian tour of The Drag Roast and his critically-acclaimed show, Hard to Swallow. He has also been appointed Artistic Director of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival for 2026 and 2027, becoming one of the youngest artists to lead the internationally renowned event.

Now in its 19th year, Honour shines a light on exceptional leadership, service and achievements in rainbow communities in New South Wales.
“Every day, people from all walks of life and many community groups and organisations do incredible work that improves the lives of LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones. Honour recognises well-known achievers and also those whose contributions are made outside of the limelight,” said ACON CEO Michael Woodhouse.
Woodhouse highlighted the importance of coming together as a community – especially in these challenging times. “At a time when our rights and our lives are being questioned and attacked, now more than ever, we need to unite and lift each other up.”
