With the Brisbane Pride Rainbow Flag proudly flying, lots of community pride was on show at Brisbane City Hall on Saturday 7 June for the 2015 Queen’s Birthday Ball Awards. Not only was city hall decked out in rainbow lights on the façade of City Hall, for the first time, the event was officially welcomed by the Brisbane Lord Mayor, and attended by 12 sitting state and federal MP’s from the 3 major parties.
