On Saturday night, Kylie reaffirmed why she is one of the world’s most iconic performers, triumphantly debuting the very first show of her global Tension Tour to an adoring sell-out crowd of 13,500 at Perth’s RAC Arena.
Clearly excited to host the first night of Kylie’s Tension Tour, Perth fans made sure Kylie knew they were ready to party from the moment she hit the stage. And what a night it was, with Kylie visibly thrilled to be kicking off her global tour on Australian soil.
With back-to-back hits, including crowd favourites On A Night Like This, Padam Padam, Confide In Me and Say Something, the debut concert was a bold, slick and confident return to major touring for the chart-topping superstar.
Fans rarely had a moment to pause as Kylie delivered a stunning show that showcased the breadth of her repertoire from her close to 40-year career. Backed by her first-class band, backing vocalists and dancers, Kylie’s Tension Tour was a celebration from start to finish that fans won’t want to miss.
Kylie heads to Adelaide on Tuesday before arriving in her hometown of Melbourne for three sold out nights. She continues to Brisbane and Sydney before heading to Asia, Canada, North America, UK, Europe and Latin America.
