Crown Jewels DRAGstravaganza returns to Funhaus Factory

Cassandra The QueenDrag lovers, consider this your official invitation: Crown Jewels DRAGstravaganza is back – and she did not come to play. Taking over the King’s Birthday long weekend on Saturday 6 June, this iconic event returns as the Central Coast’s biggest and only drag ball, a cornerstone of the region’s Pride Month celebrations.

A riot of rhinestones, rebellion and razor-sharp talent, Crown Jewels transforms Funhaus Factory into a glitter-drenched playground where high glamour collides with satire, absurdity and unapologetic self-expression. This is drag in its fullest form – spectacle, protest, parody and pure theatrical brilliance.

At the top of the bill is Cassandra The Queen, a Filipina-Australian drag artist and activist known for electrifying performances that fuse pageant glamour with cultural storytelling and political edge. A multi-time DIVA Award winner and regular on some of Sydney’s most iconic stages, Cassandra brings precision, power and undeniable star presence, championing LGBTQIA+ visibility while delivering high-impact, unforgettable performance.

Guiding the chaos is Haus Mother Glitta Supernova, your hostess with the moistest – serving looks, lore and just the right amount of danger across a night of expertly curated mayhem. Joining the line-up, Magnus Opium dazzles with velvet vocals and theatrical opulence, a triple-crowned Drag King whose polished, music-infused performances blend cabaret with concert-level star power.

Orlando Gloom delivers a cult-favourite mix of gothic flair, camp absurdity and high-energy spectacle, with a performance style that jumps effortlessly from cheeky to jaw-dropping. Meanwhile, Fayefem brings a punk pixie energy—leaning into alt-cabaret chaos with offbeat humour, 90s nostalgia and mischievous unpredictability. Plus holding it down with local love, your Central Coast royalty Anita Drink & Hunk O’ Spunk.

What sets Crown Jewels apart isn’t just its scale – it’s spirit. Held during Pride Month, this event celebrates diversity, culture and community while honouring a legacy of resistance, resilience and radical joy. It’s a space where identity expands, performance pushes boundaries and audiences are invited not just to watch – but to fully let go.

This is not a sit-back-and-be-polite kind of night. This is a full-body, immersive experience – where you scream, spill your drink, fall in love with a stranger, and leave a little more undone than when you arrived. Dress Code: Royalty only: Think opulence, excess, theatricality – big jewels, bold silhouettes and unapologetic glamour.
