First DJs announced for 2017 Mardi Gras Party

SGLMG Oxford HustlersWhoever you are, wherever you’re from, the Official Mardi Gras Party is the hottest ticket of the year. Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras have announced the first line-up of international stars and the hottest Australian talent to hit the decks in 2017.

The first international star leading the 2017 line-up who is burning up dance floors across the US and beyond, is Miami’s Cuban/American, DJ Citizen Jane. Citizen Jane’s resume reads like a circuit party passport having headlined the hottest clubs, venues and festivals in the US and Canada, including playing over the NYC Pride weekend at the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, San Francisco’s Folsom Fair, the coveted White Party Miami, alongside DJ’ing for a growing list of celebrities. Expect to hear her signature blend of main room circuit & house anthems in her debut Australian DJ performance.

Local DJ duo, Oxford Hustlers return to the scene to spin decks and break hearts in their first time playing the main room of the Party together. Oxford Hustlers, made up of legends Murray Hood and Brett Austin, have taken Australia’s dance nightlife by storm and produced remixes for some of the world’s biggest artists, including Christina Aguilera, Jason Derulo, The Saturdays, Wynter Gordon and Inaya Day, along with their own Artist single Love U More with UK vocalist Katherine Ellis.

Joining Oxford Hustlers at the Party is one of the fastest rising DJ’s, producers & remixers in Sydney. UK expat JimJam has become one of the most sought after talents in the country, with an ear and passion for great music. His core House music sounds combined with chunky tech beats with a nod to the underground have won him a loyal fan base. JimJam co-created the successful club night, Therapy, has packed floors for events and clubs including Tropical Fruits and Poof Doof, and has released several of his own artist singles to high acclaim, cementing his status as a rising star.

Both JimJam and Oxford Hustlers are promising Mardi Gras Party exclusive remixes, re-edits and mashups along with special guest performers to create those one of a kind “Mardi Gras moments”
