Visit Gay Australia website launches at ATE 2016

Visit Gay Australia APNA dynamic new website designed to invite domestic and international travellers to visit gay Australia has been launched to global tourism and travel industry representatives attending the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) on the Gold Coast.

The new website, visitgayaustralia.com.au is the consumer interface for Gay & Lesbian Tourism Australia (GALTA) and incorporates comprehensive destination information, event details, product listings and an experience based blog for regularly refreshed content.

Designed in line with the company’s recently refreshed brand, launched at Midsumma Festival in Melbourne earlier this year, the website provides a direct link to GALTA’s growing membership base from across Australia and the Asia Pacific.

GALTA President Rod Stringer said the site was an exciting development that would provide extensive and relevant holiday inspiration to an international audience keen to experience Australia.

“We know that Australia is an incredibly desired destination for many internationals, and even for Australians who want to explore their own backyard, and this new site provides real inspiration and practical information to connect this desire with a decision to visit,” said Mr Stringer.

“It’s a stylish, vibrant and comprehensive platform and we’ll be investing a lot of energy in the site to ensure it’s continuously refreshed and highly relevant for our LGBT audience. We particularly want to provide a direct booking opportunity for our members, via listings and banner advertising across the site.”

The Visit Gay Australia website also provides links through to the related social media platforms on Facebook (/visitgayaustralia), Instagram (@visitgayaustralia) and Twitter (@VisitGayAus).
