Currently playing in The Spiegeltent at The Garden of Unearthly Delights, the reimagined spectacle, La Ronde, is a sparkling diamond – intimate, daring and deliciously playful.
Created by the boundary-pushing producers behind Blanc de Blanc and LIMBO, La Ronde has assembled a glittering troupe of international circus artists and sets them loose in a carousel of seduction, strength and sublime absurdity.
Performed entirely in the round, the circular stage puts every audience member deliciously close to the action. It’s immersion at its finest: nowhere to hide, and absolutely no desire to. The 2026 season feels tighter, slicker and turned up to eleven. Seven world-class performers, including four new additions, lift an already celebrated show into bold, brassier territory.
Gigi (UK/Spain) rules the room with magnetic live vocals, threading smoky glamour through the spectacle and anchoring the delicious chaos with effortless cool. Sergiy Mishchurenko (Ukraine/Germany) turns the Aerial Pole into a living sculpture, carving the air with breathtaking precision. Diana Bondarenko (Germany) commands the Pyramid Trapeze with astonishing grace and grit, balancing fragility and force in moments that makes your heart leap.
Danik Abishev (Australia) stacks, balances and defies logic itself, holding the tent in awed silence before the applause crashes in. Jenny Zavadskaya (Russia) coils and unfurls on the Aerial Rope with hypnotic control, while LJ Marles (UK) tests the limits of muscle and momentum on the Aerial and Tension Straps in a display of raw strength and artistry. And then there’s David Eriksson (Sweden), whose outrageous ping pong ball routine is equal parts jaw-dropping and wickedly cheeky – proof that the unexpected can be pure theatrical gold.
What truly sets La Ronde apart isn’t just its technical brilliance (though there’s plenty to marvel at), but its mischievous spirit. It flirts shamelessly. It teases with a grin and delights in the off-kilter humour. Within the confines of The Spiegeltent, every gasp, laugh and daring feat feels magnified.
