SOLO

SOLO-Ember-Flame-photo-by-Rachel-MiaFresh from a sell-out season at Sydney Fringe, Ember Flame presents Solo at the Goodwood Theatre and Studios, as part of the 2025 Adelaide Fringe, from 27 February to 1 March.

A love letter from the bedroom of Australia’s Burlesque Poet, Ember Flame, who asks: What does it mean to connect to others?

Ember explores this question as a naughty nun, a queer award winner, Alexis from Dynasty, an iBabe and an activist bride. It’s a glamorous trail of alter egos, who all want to be seen and loved, make some sense of this world, and dance around in their bedroom.

Ember weaves burlesque, poetry, storytelling and dance in a deeply personal and political show that will make you laugh, think, cry – and hopefully feel less alone.

Ember Flame is a burlesque performer and poet who has taken her striptease stories from Sydney to New York and back. She has been performing for audiences around the world since 2011, and in her bedroom for much longer.

“A brilliant show that stitches vastly different characters together seamlessly, with cinematic prose, razor sharp wit and even sharper dance moves. All the feels a human can feel in one entertaining hour.” – Sydney Star Observer
