Multi-award winning comedian Robyn Perkins returns to Adelaide Fringe with her new show Million Dollar Maybe at Gluttony, Rymill Park.
Robyn Perkins recently realized she’s bisexual, and has since been trying to prove just that. Then, on 20 July 2020, a legitimate scientific article was published titled Robust Evidence for Bisexual Orientation Among Men. Promise, it’s for real.
Million Dollar Maybe recounts the incredible story of Robyn challenging the scientist who wrote the article, alongside her own personal tale of falling in love, which together, results in one unforgettable hour.
American born Robyn Perkins has taken the global comedy scene by storm, with rave reviews and awards, including winning the Sydney Fringe Comedy Award in 2019 with her debut hour 10,000 Decisions.
Combining real-life stories, her background in biology and her affable charm, Robyn takes audiences through not only some hilarious tales but she can scientifically prove how ridiculous they are as well!
Her show Mating Selection received 4 stars from Chortle and won a weekly comedy award at Perth Fringe World. She is in high demand as a comic doing weekends at clubs including Glee, Komedia, and Top Secret Comedy Club.
Since her Edinburgh Fringe debut, Robyn has performed at top international festivals such as Perth’s Fringe World Festival and Adelaide Fringe (as well as a few weeks at Sydney’s prestigious Comedy Store) and has also performed in countries such as the USA, Singapore, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Finland and more.
Science-wise, she is saving the high seas by being on the board of the Ocean Matters charity. She also has a Masters from Harvard
