The Full Irish will kick off on Sunday 5 March at 10.00am, just in time to catch proud marchers finishing their morning strut across the Sydney Harbour Bridge for World Pride.
In conjunction with The Mercantile Hotel, Sydney Queer Irish (SQI) will activate the Rocks with an all-day street party to close out the World Pride season in style!
Expect DJs and Drag Queens, traditional Irish music and dancing, Irish food & stalls, and the queerest, most welcoming Irish event ever held in Sydney.
Irish drag queens Veda Lady and Peaches Queen, Australian drag queens Tina Turnon and Sho Mawood and DJs Eddie and Hammo, will perform alongside Singalong Social, MC Aoife and the Craic Mechanics, Celtic Tones, and the Rainbow Trad Star Supergroup.
Established in 2010 Sydney Queer Irish (SQI) is a community-based organisation supporting the Irish and Irish Australian LGBTQI+ community through a variety of events and support networks. We represent Ireland and instil a sense of pride in our community.
Sydney Queer Irish is a now decade old community group established in 2010 by SQI president Loretta Cosgrove. SQI emerged from a desire to create a social support network and a home away from home for the Irish LGBTQI+ community and its allies.
SQI provides a solid base from which to socialise and celebrate all that it means to be Irish and LGBTQI+ while living in Australia. Everyone is welcome in SQI!
Tickets are available from Humantix and includes entry, entertainment and the world-famous Irish breakfast roll!
The first release tickets have already sold out so hop onto Humantix or Sydney Queers Irish’s social media pages on Facebook or Instagram to nab yours.
