Mardi Gras full Party lineup announced

Mardi Gras Party – photo by Ann-Marie CalilhannaSuperstars, surprises and stellar stage shows will entertain 12,000+ partygoers from across the globe in one of the biggest LGBTQI celebrations, as the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras announces the full lineup of international and local stars coming together under one roof for the official Mardi Gras Party on Saturday 4 March 2017.

Joining an already stacked line up of artists and DJ’s is Sydney vocalist/DJ and voice of the official SGLMG 2017 theme song Everybody’s Free, Nat Conway who’s making her Mardi Gras debut. Making his first ever Aussie appearance is “All American Boy” Steve Grand who has taken his native America and the world by storm with his clear, soaring voice and emotionally uplifting, hook-filled songs.

Plus the architect of anthems, Peyton, who’s taking a break from his Ibiza and London based gigs to rock the Party. This year’s community show will see rising Aussie star, Luke Antony, take to the stage at midnight for soulful show stopping performance. These party powerhouses will take to the stage in between epic DJ sets by the biggest international and local names including: Sylvin Wood (FR), Joelby (UK), High Low (FR), Anhy (FR) and local favourites Kate Monroe, DJ Tiny, Rob Davis and THE SWEATS.

As well as these top party tastemakers, the Mardi Gras Party already has a heaving line up of acts featuring The Veronicas, Tegan and Sara, Dan Murphy, Corey Craig, Citizen Jane, Oxford Hustlers, JimJam and DJ Mickey.

“This is Australia’s biggest and best party of the year and it’s going to be an amazing, inclusive and hedonistic party experience like no other,” said Mardi Gras Creative Director, Greg Clarke.

The night will feature an exclusive performance by The Veronicas in a specially created show just for Mardi Gras. This will be one of four big live shows to blow your mind and senses in the iconic Royal Hall of Industries, which will feature, dancers, acrobats and the crème de-la-creme of Sydney’s drag queen superstars.

In the Hordern Pavilion you will enter a jungle of special effects as lasers cut through a real-life forest in which wild performances and pop-up happenings will create a bizarre world of debauchery and fun. From porn stars, American go-go boys to queer performance artists, surprise vocalists and a star line-up  of DJ’s this hallowed hall of abandon will take you to a state of euphoric dance music heaven.”
