A Day In The Life Of A Lesbian Bank Robber (review)

Tuck-Shop-Ladies-Rosie-Burgess-and-Sam-LohsPerformed by the Tuck Shop Ladies (Rosie Burgess and Sam Lohs), A Day in the Life of a Lesbian Bank Robber is an entertaining musical journey into the randomness of the everyday.

Over the course of the well-crafted set, the audience was treated to a collection of short songs, some very (very) short songs, and a few longer ones – held together by a steady stream of banter from the duo between themselves and the audience. Nothing felt rushed or meandering.

The quality of the musicianship and humour was obvious from the first strummed notes and casual bit of conversation – all the more so from how effortless they make it look.

Rosie and Sam have fashioned a gem of a show with their tiny guitars, one that’s easy to enjoy and recommend.
