Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again

Wit-Incorporated-Theatre-Company-Revolt.-She-Said.-Revolt-Again.Wit Incorporated Theatre Company ignites the stage with Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. – Alice Birch’s ferocious dissection of language, power and identity, this November at the Bluestone Church Arts Space and The Bowery Theatre in December.

Through sharp, surreal and darkly funny vignettes, it twists words into weapons and turns everyday rituals inside out. What begins as an assault on the language and traditions that have shaped “womanhood” becomes something larger: a call to tear down the systems of oppression that divide and diminish us all.

Directed by Emily O’Brien-Brown, this production takes inspiration from bell hooks’ insistence that “feminism is for everybody.” Wit Inc. has brought together a company of artists whose collective force will confront the very structures we are living and breathing within.

Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. is startling and disarming – a howl of protest and maybe a map toward possibility: unflinching, unapologetic and urgently alive. Join Wit Incorporated this November and December for an experience that refuses silence and celebrates collective resistance.
