Mardi Gras Film Festival Volunteer Registrations

Queerscreen VolunteersWant to be part of the 32nd Mardi Gras Film Festival? Volunteering at the festival offers a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, contribute to an inclusive community, and have a lot of fun!

Running from Thursday 13 February, the 2025 Festival line-up includes almost 150 of the world’s best LGBTQI+ films, presented across 72 sessions at Event Cinemas (George Street and Hurstville), Dendy Cinemas Newtown, and Ritz Cinemas Randwick. Special events at the State Library of NSW and additional screenings at The Rocks Laneway Cinema and Bank Hotel complete the program.

Queer Screen is driven at every level by hundreds of dedicated volunteers who make its festivals tick: from the box office staff and ushers in pink, to the digital marketing team, film pre-screening team and the board, volunteers all do what they do for the love of queer film.

Queerscreen has already published most of the shifts for the festival, so you can sign up and start selecting your shifts straight away. Use the link below to access available shifts and ongoing opportunities:
