Now in its 28th year, Adelaide’s premier LGBTQIA+ arts and cultural festival, Feast Festival returns in 2025 with the biggest program in over a decade packed with 117 events across 67 venues and four weekends from 1 – 23 November 2025.
From the very best in queer cinema and comedy, to drag, cabaret, art, dance, music, salacious poetry and erotic pottery – and more family friendly events – this year’s Feast program has something for every taste.
Whether you’re discovering Feast for the first time or returning for more, this year’s extended program offers even more chances to dive into the celebration – with events touring across South Australia.
“With expanded dates and a packed program, there’s never been a better time to experience the magic of Feast, support local artists, and embrace the full spectrum of diversity,” says Feast CEO Tish Naughton.
“Not only have we increased the number of events by over 40 per cent but thanks to the incredible support of our partners we have more free events and we’re spreading the Feast energy to more locations across SA.”
“Try your hand at queer pétanque, create some risqué pottery, get your Rocky Horror on, or put your best pet forward at the iconic Feast Dog Show – whatever your appetite we welcome you to come Feast with us.”
This year’s theme, LIBERATION, marking 50 years since South Australia decriminalised homosexuality, is explored through a bold program of premieres, forums, exhibitions – and a special tribute to the Feast legacy of Don Dunstan.
Feast holds a critical place in Adelaide’s arts calendar, empowering voices that are often underrepresented in the creative landscape and amplifying LGBTQIA+ diversity, inclusion and equality.
With half of the 2025 program consisting of creative developments and works created especially for Feast or making their South Australian premiere, Feast continues a proud tradition of supporting new and emerging artists.
