TasPride Festival: February 2027 (dates to be confirmed)
For over two decades, TasPride has provided a voice and close knit community for LGBTQI Tasmanians and their friends. They’re here to support, unite, champion and celebrate our lives, goals, achievements and love. Every February TasPride host a Festival as well as several other events throughout the year.
TasPride Parade and Party in the Park: (Hobart): February 2026 (date to be confirmed)
The TasPride parade and party in the park is a signature event of the TasPride Festival. Gather your friends, family, colleagues and teammates; don your pride colours and costumes; prepare your banners; and get ready to party.
Australian Musical Theatre Festival (Launceston): May 2027**
The Australian Musical Theatre Festival is an unparalleled opportunity for musical theatre lovers, makers and industry professionals to get together, share, nurture and celebrate this wonderful genre. Held in Launceston, Tasmania, it includes a diverse program with opportunities to teach, collaborate, engage, perform, learn and – of course – enjoy. A non-profit event, the Festival is held annually to benefit Australia’s musical theatre industry.
Dark Mofo: 11 – 22June 2026**
Dark Mofo is Hobart’s annual midwinter arts and culture festival. Key events include Winter Feast and the infamous Nude Solstice Swim.
Artfully Queer Exhibition (Hobart): 9 – 25 October 2026
As always, interpret, challenge, expand or illustrate as creatively as you like. From drawings and paintings through to fashion, installations, video art and even live performance, Artfully Queers showcases Tasmania’s hottest emerging and practicing artists all under the roof of the iconic Long Gallery at Salamanca Arts Centre.
