In a statement released today, Brisbane Pride has made the difficult decision to postpone the Rally, March and Fair Day, due to this week’s adverse weather conditions.
The safety and wellbeing of our community, performers, stallholders, volunteers and event staff must come first, and we thank everyone for their understanding.
We know how much these events mean to our community and share the disappointment of those who were looking forward to coming together to celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride, visibility and community.
Brisbane Pride will provide further updates regarding rescheduling arrangements as soon as possible. Please follow our official social media channels for the latest information.
In the meantime, Brisbane Pride will be hosting a Pride Party at THE WICKHAM on Saturday 24 October – with Drag Race headliners VYBE + COCO JUMBO will be performing, joined by Sarah Problem, Tall Jan & Vogue MegaQueen. Music by Ryzen Shine, Ashe & DJ Sammy, plus the PRIDE Best Dressed Pageant!
Brisbane Pride concluded the statement thanking the community for their support, patience and understanding, and looks forward to celebrating Pride with you soon.
Brisbane Pride Rally, March and Fair Day will take place on Saturday 7 November 2026. For more information, visit: www.brisbanepride.org.au for details.
