A darkly funny and immersive hour that will attempt to entertain, horrify and educate in equal measures, Elliot McLaren presents Memoirs of a Meth Head at The Motley Bauhaus, as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, until 10 April 2024.
Elliot McLaren is a mixed race comedian who grew up in an abusive, criminal environment as a gay man and came out the other side to tell the tale. There won’t be another show like this at the Melbourne Festival this year.
Directed by 2022 best newcomer nominee, Steph Broadbridge, Memoirs of a Meth Head is an interactive comedy experience combined with brutally honest storytelling with Q & A.
