Midsumma have announced they will host the inaugural Midwinta Gala Ball – a social occasion marked by festive celebration, entertainment and fundraising.
To be held during Melbourne’s crisp cool winter season at the prestigious Savoy Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, the primary aim of the Midwinta Gala Ball is to ensure guests have an amazing, entertaining and memorable evening – with proceeds helping to fund three key strategic cultural points:
• Raise funds to foster the development of new and aspiring talent in visual and performing arts for the 2015 Midsumma Festival;
• Raise the profile of the Midsumma Festival throughout the year and provide a platform for the community to build on and develop additional activities and events during the winter season; and
• Encourage and support diversity and inclusion across the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex community with supporters and allies.
Book a table with friends or co-workers, or as a special treat for your staff, diversity team or pride group for a night of festivities and fun, performances, games and fundraising silent auction.
Tickets are$150 each or $1,500 for a table for 10. Tables are sure to book up fast, so be sure to get in quick!
The Midwinta Gala Ball is intended to become a permanent element of Midsumma’s annual cultural calendar.
