Adelaide:

Mars Bar Celebrating 40 Years
It’s an Adelaide institution and one of the country’s oldest continually operating gay clubs. Say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017. With four areas to play and relax, the DJ line-up includes DJ Josh, Scott Tanner, DJ Simon, Adrian Mendo, VJK, Happy Emo, DJ Kerry, and De-ann Gilbert – plus a special drag show at midnight to bring in the New Year.

Brisbane:

New Year’s Eve at The Sporties
Now in their 26th year of serving Brisbane’s gay community, The Sporties NYE will be like no other. 3 Bars, 3 DJ’s, and some amazing shows with Vollie Lavont, Mandy Moobs, Shushu Funtanna & Tina Bikki. While down in Nellies Bunker, Fur Events presents a Men’s Only Event, Black New Years Eve with DJs Ray Simonsen and Vincible on the decks.

Cairns:

New Years Eve in Cairns is set to be bigger and better than ever in 2016!  The Casbah Lounge are opening their doors for the LGBTQI community to come together and party the night away. Hosted by Claudia Izout and Delvine, come along and enjoy special appearances from the ladies of Les Queens & Co, Marina Miraj and Imogen Wild. DJs include Bones and Sonya – balloon drop at Midnight with some great prizes up for grabs.

Darwin:

Beyond Dance
He’s produced tracks for Cher, Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, and Madonna – now Wayne G, the World’s biggest dance party DJ comes to Darwin’s Throb Nightclub for NYE – taking you on a journey and featuring his hits, Lets Get Twisted, I Just Wanna #%*#%^* Dance and much much more.

Hobart:

Flamingos NYE Masquerade Party!
A night of fun and entertainment as Flamingos say goodbye to 2016 and welcome in 2017! Featuring DJ Nick Jay (Melb) and Flamingos resident DJ D2P! This combo will get you shaking what your Mamma gave you until the sun comes up! Shows feature the gorgeous gals Aurum Argentum, MisTy DelRay & Pussy Poppins with dancers Sammie & Matt! Lismore – Northern New South Wales:

Tropical Fruits Glamatron New Year’s Eve Festival
The Tropical Fruits New Year’s Festival is a four-day GLBTI celebration, and anyone who has ever attended will know how much fun they are – and this year, will be no exception, as this New Year’s Eve marks a break with social order, a radical, cyberpunk-journey beyond binary and into a new dimension with Glamatron. DJs include: Alex Taylor, Murray Hood, Ruby, Papa Tom, Somerville & Wilson and Sveta. Checkout the cabaret space or visit the queer art exhibition – and look to the skies at midnight for one of the best fireworks displays in regional Australia.

Melbourne:

Big, Bold & Bitter New Years Eve
Fasten your seat belts it’s gonna be one hell of a huge night at DTs. Be there as Candee, Rita and Sue ring in the New Year with this special edition of Big, Bold & Bitter – with a 3am closing, you never know what will happen!

Poof Doof New Years Sleaze
New Years Eve is set to be a total cork popper. Come get Sleazy at the very last ‘doof’ for 2016 – join resident DJs Sunshine, Argonaut, & Salvador Darling, and a very special performance by Fagfarm. Official Countdown to Midnight by the Doofettes.

Queens in the Stone Age
Come out of your caves and go clubbing at Connections Nightclub this New Year’s Eve. Featuring one of Sydney’s most popular club scene DJ’s, Dom de Sousa,and a mammoth show by Fay Rocious, BarbieQ, Ruby Jewelz, Brooke Barlow and Mel Beadle.

Celebration NYE 16 / 17
Now in its eighth year, Celebration NYE offers unparalleled views of the festivities and fireworks on Sydney Harbour from the rooftop terrace of the Museum of Contemporary Art. Groove to the sounds of two of Sydney’s finest DJ’s – Mark Alsop and Murray Hood, whilst indulging in a gorgeous selection of food and beverages throughout the evening.
