GALTA and APN reach out to LGBTIQ+ Pride and Community groups

APN Rainbow FlagGALTA (Gay and Lesbian Tourism Australia) in association with the Australian Pride Network has embarked on a national program to expand its listings of destinations and information about local community groups and events.

In these unprecedented times, both organisations acknowledge that many sectors have been significantly impacted due to restrictions in place on mass gatherings due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

“There are many destinations throughout Australia that are now conducting their own Pride and community events who would benefit from joining GALTA and be able to promote their activities through our extensive newsletter database and social media channels, said GALTA President, Louise Terry.

In this new initiative GALTA will invite Not-for-Profit Pride and Community groups within Australia to join the Association FREE for an initial period of 6 months or up until the end of December 2020. To join, visit: – click the green icon – register and complete the membership form – enter the promo code: COMMUNITY – to access your free listing!
