ChillOut’s Queer Country Bake Off 2018

APN Pride CakeGet baking! The Farmers Arms Hotel in Daylesford will be hosting ChillOut’s 3rd annual Queer Country Bake Off on Saturday 1 December 2018.

Put your baking and decorating skills to the test and you could see yourself crowned as the baking King or Queen of ChillOut.  Sift that flour, beat those eggs, cream that butter… get baking!

If you don’t (or can’t) bake… come along and join in the auction – from 3.00pm for your chance to take away the best of the show. All cakes competing in the show will be auctioned off with funds raised going towards supporting Thorne Harbour Country and in honour of World AIDS day.

The 2018 Queer Country Bake Off categories include:

Open Category:
Best Vegan Cake
Best LGBTIQ Wedding Cake
Most Creative Decorated Cake

The Under 15 years old Baker
Most Creative Decorated Cake
Tastiest Cake or Cupcakes

Professional Bakers:
Most Creative Decorated Corporate Cake

All cakes must be fully edible, and will be sold on the day. A list of all ingredients plus a sample of the cake on the side for the judges to taste. Cake Registration starts at 1.30pm. Judging from 2.00pm. Cake Auction from 3.00pm. Make sure you come along and support this fun event. The entry free is $10 for all cakes.
