Back by popular demand: Brisbane’s most diverse duo return for one night only at Toucan Club Festival

Pip Theatre Oh Am I Lily Mitchell and Zoe Oh GeeAfter a sold-out debut at MELT Festival, local comedians Lily Mitchell and Zoe Oh Gee are back by popular demand with an encore performance of their hit show Oh, Am I? – this time as part of the Toucan Club Festival at Pip Theatre on Friday 14 November 2025.

Blending stand-up, storytelling and unfiltered honesty, Oh, Am I? is a split-bill comedy show about identity, reinvention and the wonderfully awkward process of figuring yourself out and laughing through it all.

The two Brisbane comedians first teamed up after realising that despite their differences, they’ve both spent a lifetime being labelled by strangers.

Lily Mitchell is a legally blind, neurospicy, queer filmmaker and para-athlete whose life and work have been featured by the ABC.

“Through comedy I can advocate for myself and encourage others to do the same,” says Mitchell. “I can take up space and share my voice for myself and others in my community.”

Sharing the stage is Zoe Oh Gee – a stand-up comedian, engineer, podcaster, data-nerd and yogi who recently came out as a lesbian in her 30s.

“Between us, we’ve had more identity labels than a supermarket aisle,” says Zoe Oh Gee. “Oh, Am I? is our way of unpacking all of that, with plenty of laughs and raw storytelling along the way.”

Following rave reviews and a sold-out crowd at MELT, the duo return for one night only – a celebration of difference, humour and self-discovery not to be missed.
